The First Cardano NFT (CNFT) Exhibition
This exhibition is the first Cardano NFT Exhibition in the Metaverse, a cross-blockchain event.

The exhibition features new NFTs (Non fungible tokens) of the Cardano Blockchain, abbreviated CNFTs. Ranging from little animal astronauts in a variety of forms, the Spacebudz to berries in many different colors, the Berry NFTs, and the Cardanobits that heated up the network during their pre-sale. What is more, a special series of artworks entitled The Ada Ladies is showcased for the first time. Each of the projects is unique in its own way and artworks presented are different in their style and purpose.
During the grand opening of the exhibition on April 18, 2021, Lala invited the earliest innovators and creators in the CNFT space Alessandro (Berry Pool and co-creator of Spacebudz), Stale (Stale Pool and coding wizard), Professor Cardano (merging science and blockchain, CNFT.io) and Francisco (Cardanobits) to take part in a livestream with lively interaction. They shared their experiences, talked about their projects, CNFTs, blockchains, smart contracts, art, science, tech and where they see Cardano’s future headed. It has to be noted that there are no smart contracts on the Cardano Blockchain yet, in terms of NFTs the market is not as mature as Ethereum. It is thus still very early for Cardano NFTs but what has been exciting to see is that the community formed rapidly around these early projects. New and exciting projects are being added every day, the CNFT.io discord server offers auctions and escrow services for all and the community is welcoming, friendly and thriving. “Imagine where this will be once smart contracts are launched? This is the beginning of something great”, all panelists agreed.

The Spacebudz — Little Animal Astronauts in Space 🚀
Zieg, the well-known creator of ETH-MEN got together with the talented computer science student Alessandro from Berry Pool to bring the lovable and always adventurous Spacebudz to life on the Cardano Blockchain. Intended to be launched on Ethereum at first, Alessandro managed to convince Zieg that Cardano was a good alternative they should explore. Little animal astronauts with various gadgets on their mission to moon and beyond. It can be regarded as the first major successful CNFT project, putting Cardano on the NFT scene, bringing more people to Cardano and enabling users a smart contract-like experience, although Cardano does not even have any smart contracts yet … simply amazing! 10.000 unique pieces, varying in rarity.
Exhibition Highlights:
We proudly present some special bulls in the exhibition. Fittingly, this year 2021 is the year of the ox.
The day before the opening of the exhibition, this dinosaur was the highest recorded sale in CNFT’s very early history.
Dinosaurs are the rarest Spacebudz type. We are happy and honored that the owner generously made it available for the exhibition. The dinosaur which made headlines found company in the pink dinosaur and the camo suit dino thanks to their respective collectors.

The Berries — A Sweet Taste of the Cardano Community 🍓
A SPO who runs a pool on a raspberry pi, minted some berries right after the Mary hard fork to distribute to his first 100 delegators for free. They are the very first art NFTs collectibles to be minted on the Cardano Blockchain and are a precursor to the Spacebudz. Each berry combines the flavor of Cardano with a different color. Each berry has its unique color represented in both hex numbers and the human readable language. 100 unique pieces.
Before the exhibition, berry owners were asked to share some thoughts regarding Cardano, the community, CNFTs or anything blockchain related, words which form part of this exhibition. Here are some snippets:
Berry Roux: “How do you pronounce roux one asks? Simple pronunciation, I say … ‘Community’, Roux is a binding agent, a color with as much utility as flair, words that best describe the Cardano spirit.”
Berry Orange: “Orange stands for vitality, enthusiasm and life. This journey is like a fresh juice in the summer sun. We have only just begun.”
Berry Platinum: “A piece of Cardano history. A privilege to hold.”
Berry Pear: “Being an early adopter sometimes feels like a punch in the stomach, but it is still incredibly rewarding nonetheless.”
Berry Ruby: “If you want to go quickly, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.”
Berry Azul: “Vers l’infini, et plus loin encore!”

Cardanobits — Zombies, aliens, humans and more in 8 Bits of Pixelart 🧟♀️
Fascinated by blockchain and as an avid informatics engineer, Francisco decided to release his own unique collection of 8 bit characters on the Cardano Blockchain that are very distinct in their looks, the Cardanobits or “Cbits”. They are the first pixel art on Cardano and definitely one of the most fun, colorful and sought after collectibles, which soon gathered a large following and are especially known for bringing down Yoroi Wallet’s servers and impacting great traffic on the Cardano Blockchain during the pre-sale. If you got one, you were lucky. 10.000 unique pieces, varying in rarity.
We were able to gather a variety of Cardanobits for the exhibition:
We proudly present three zombies, the rarest Cbit type, which are showcased in the metaverse for the benefit of the public for the first time and were generously made available by their three respective owners.

- The Ada Ladies — Nurturing and female energy for a decentralized future 👩
When discovering Cardano, Lala got excited. There is a lot of reference to female inventors and visionaries in Cardano. The name Ada, Cardano’s coin, is inspired by Ada Lovelace, an English mathematician who is often regarded as one of the first computer programmers, and who was the first to recognize that the machine had applications beyond pure calculations. Each Ada Lady of the Ada Ladies Series combines spherical objects in various sizes as part of her body, as accessories or in the surroundings, orbiting around her. Charles Hoskinson tweeted on 24 February, announcing that “Mary will reach orbit in one epoch … welcome to the Mary era” and included a quote by Mary Shelley, the author of Frankenstein: “I was benevolent and good; misery made me a fiend. Make me happy, and I shall again be virtuous.”
The Mary hard fork opened up the Cardano platform to a world of possibilities with multi assets.
